A relaxing cup of caffe con leche

If you can't handle everything and you're sleeping over the book you have to read... maybe a coffee will be good to go for it!

When I've started the Graphic Design course I search some graphics in order to know how they look like most of them and I find this funny information graphic about the amounts of ingredients that every different kind of caffe has.

This graphic is familiar because we know the silhouettes of the cups but quite original, it's so novel and decorative, figurative and light.

In conclusion it's a simple graphic but I love it because of the simplicity it has.

What to do

www.infographicsvillage.com
Related to my last post of the employment in the European Union I've found this infographic about what do the people in the work, in wich sectors they work the employed people, the number of unemployed, the older ones, the youngs...

This graphic is familiar, light, novel and provide us information in an easy way. There's no density and the donut chart helps a lot to understand what do the people of this world.

Do you agree with me?

Crisis... What crisis?

Are we or not in crisis? Seeing my live it seems so.

This is the European Union Labour graphic I've done. It's so simple, familiar, has a little of redundancy because I'm putting lots of percentages of unemployed people in different ways: the total, by gender, young people... I think that the graphic is aesthetical and the colors I've choose fit well with them. The graphic is decorative and light and the information is easy to understand.

Tell me your opinions and the mistakes I've done!

Why am I so afraid?

Anyone of us is afraid to take a plane? I am.
Even in a recent post I've said  I want to travel a lot there's a thing I can't hide that is my fear for planes. I take so many in my life but anyways every time I have to caught one I shiver.

After doing this infographic about airplane crashes my fear increase....

This graphic is about  the most important aircrafts in the last 10 years. Maybe some information is not clear, because I don't divide every kind of graphic with his information, I want to say that I'm putting a chronological graphic I put an scatterplot with the most important crashes, a bar chart, a treemap and a map with bubbles. It's not to informative and not so efficient as it could be but I've found it very beauty and I like the colors I choose.

Tell me your opinion and what I could have done better!

I want to see the world

Good morning!
I'm sure that most of us would like to travel and visit new places. Personally I would like to go to the U.S.A, Seychelles, Australia, Canada, Perú, Africa, Bolívia... I want to travel a lot but for now I don't have money and also I don't have sufficient time...

depositphotos.com

Today I'm inserting an infographic  about traveling! So we will know more information about where people go. This graphic show us the places most visited, where are geographically situated, the method of transport, the percentages of people that travel and the equipment the do. In my opinion even the colors and the draws are nice the information given is difficult to understand, if someone doesn't know the most recognozible building of some country wouldn't know the place where people travel... Also there's and information about how the weather could be but It doesn't say nothing eventually... In London it Rains, in Rome there's sun and in Paris the clouds rains love. So what do you think, it's useful or it could be better?

I want to see the world... If that's something you can't arrange then I'll be jumping trains.

Tweet and sing just like the bird

Hi everyone!

I'm sure that all of use have a twitter profile and if you don't have it son you will.

Twitter is a social network that has grown up a lot maybe because everyone talk about everything.

This infographic about the kind of profiles that are more common in Twitter is so funny. It's efficient, familiar but quite original, light, figurative and decorative. The well known blue bird of twitter represents each kind of user and everything is in different blues and other colors that fits so well.

Bonjour TGV!

The TGV is hereeee!
Now we can do the Barcelona-Paris in less than 7 hours with train, such a development in infrastructures.
This information graphic that talks about the different fast trains and their tour is complex.  It's so decorative and figurative, in my opinion is to dense and even the colors fit well I'm getting stressed as I see it, I don't know why but there's so many information putted in an abstract way.

Will you take the AVE or you will prefer go to Paris with airplane?

Christmas's coming!

HO HOO HOPE!

4th of december. It starts the consumerism at his best. Are we prepared to spend money on gifts for those we love?

Crisis, maybe an overused word, the reality, the description of our economy and our lives. Even if we have crisis people like to buy new things. That feeling of wishing something and receiving it on christmas day is the most beautiful thing in the world. It's beautiful not for the economic object that represents but for the sentimental feeling the emotions and the love that the person that gives you the present send to you. That kind of feeling is christmas, love.

www.enterprise-dashboard.com

Nowadays we hear christmas is coming and we all like crazy people go running to shopping malls. This infographic show us in a kind of eraser list where people buy thingd, the money they spend, the kind of presents, and also curious things like when children stop believing in Santa Claus.

The colors (red, green and black) made us understand in a first sight that is about christmas, also the way of giving the information like it's hand written is funny. The inconvenient I found is that there are so many letters in some space and it could stress us. But anyways I've found one of the most original graphics about christmas with a unusual structure that says BUY ME NOW for 5'95 ;) (ironic, isn't it?). That is one of the things I like the most about this graphic consumerism is everywhere and the author of the graphic make us understand it.

Would you steal?

I have friends that had steal so many things: clothes, accessories, money... I never understand for what reason they done it, they had money to buy things but anyway they love stealing and don't waste money. So worry about the increasingly thefts for the actual situation of crisis I'm showing us an infographic made by myself where I'm illustrating the biggest theft ever in the art world.
Maybe I don't choose the right colors, in the las vignette the dark blue and the black of the silhouettes don't contrast, and the story is a little bit confusing if you don't know anything about it. I recognize that the number of paintings stealing in the chronological graphic in years is difficult to interpret but anyways I love my work and the hours that I spend doing it are worth it.

Bad decisions that's allright welcome to my silly life.

Where words fail music speaks

Today while I was listening my favourite songs on the car I though if I could find a graphic that will explain efficiently the best kind of music we could find and the evolution of the music and his industry.

While looking for this in the internet I've found a lots of this kind of graphics, a theme river graphic.
infographics-inspiration.blogspot.com
In my opinion this kind of graphics are difficult to understand because of his complexity, for me are so abstract and I don't understand the information given, so this graphics are not efficient because we are not use to see them.

Life on mars

Good night!

Sometimes when it's getting darker and the stars appears I start to think that we are a very Little thing that forms part of a big universo with others planets and who knows if with more lives...

I've done this really bad infographic about the solar system.
One of my mistakes is that is too dense, also the stars I tried to put seems so unreal like it's copy and paste.

The information given isn't good and the question answer part is so compact, I should have put more space or do another kind of structure.

The kind of graphic is familiar and easy to understand, ther's no redundancy but there's too much density.

The colors and the typogrphy I think is well choosen, but the distribution is quite bad...

The night is getting darker and son the stars will be falling down to rescue us.

Want to do some exercise?

If you want to do exercise without suffering yoga maybe will be a good option! It's been two years when I start doing yoga and I could say that it gives a lot of calm.

This graphic will made us understand in how many ways yoga is a benefit for our body. The colors used and the structure also give calm like the practice of yoga, it doesn't stress us because there's the sufficient information and the balls of information over a kind of mandala is relaxing.

After every storm maybe a rainbow will come

How's life doing?

Today I'm giving us a graphic about the colors! Because colors transmit us emotions... Did the orange color of my blog give any kind of optimism? I hope so.

So the color emotion guide show us what feelings different colors make and the brands that use that kind of color in order to transmit it.
michaelcilla.com

Do you ever thought about it? The brands and their colors made us remember them so even it seems a coincidence it's a difficult labour choosing it.

Cell phones

Do you ever lost your cell phone did anyone return it back to you?

I one day I losed my cell phone in the public library of my village but fortunately I've found it where I forget my appreciate technologic gadget.

The difficult thing is to find your stolen phone, the challenges of finding it are so low.

This graphic with bar charts about the lost phones in U.S.A and the percentages of the people who can't find it and contact with their operator in order to localize it for me isn't clear. If you make a percentage you have to put both numbers in each part, or I think so... There's not so many information and it's not efficient at all even the information given is clear to view.

Did you ever lost your phone and does you find it?

Sleepy days

A lot of work to do and a few hours to sleep. Like one of our teachers says we have to "sleep fast" but I really like to sleep... Everyone does. The clock rings in the morning and the first thing that comes to your mind is 5 more minutes, please! I think that there's a little group of people that get up fast but anyways, EVERYBODY gets up early if the reason for they have to get out of bed is meaningful to them, if you have a reason to be happy that day or high expectations of it the clock will sound and you immediatly get up.

02varvara.wordpress.com

One of the reasons that come to my mind is if I dream more than what I need or less. It depends on the person, some needs more others need less.
This graphic show us the things we have to do to sleep well. It's easy to understand, the colors, the draws, the information given under every image... Is so understandable so in order to sleep and relax do that and don't worry about how long will you sleep.

Don't worry be happy

I've just started to write this new blog and now I can't stop. Is this normal? Maybe sharing my thoughts is the thing that I like the most, I love writing and for any reason now I'm addicted to share what's in my mind. Eventhough no one will be reading the stuff in here I'm happy of sharing it.

And talking about my happiness... Is there so many happy people nowadays? Being happy it would have to be the unique way of living, like a permanent state, but it seems like it's a feeling that comes and goes depending of the things that happen in our life. You could have the best day of the whole while world and then, suddenly, a bad new comes and sadness feelings comes into your head.

brainworldmagazine.com
So while I was writing this and I was happy for my moment of inspiration a messages comes into my phone and now I'm strange. How can feelings can change in few seconds? There's a psychological description about those changes and maybe this graphic will helps us to understand how and why people are happy and how fast this feeling changes.

This infographic give us a good explanation of how depending on the hour of the day we are more happy, just with a simple chronological line graphic represents in a clear way the variation of our mood in the 24 hours of a day. It doesn't have so much content but what is saying is  easy to understand, the essential pillars of happiness and how our brain works. Eventhough I think that the colours should be more vital because the graphic in itself would have to give us a happy feeling.

y55happy.com

This other infographic is more good eye tasting. The colours and the hierarchy bring us take more attention, also the symbols and forms are all well known for everybody so it's an easy graphic to understand how is happiness doing in a different ways.

What am I gonna do?

Everyday you have to make some decisions, choosing is difficult and it seems like the more you think the less ideas you have... After over thinking I've had an idea, so here it is!
If one day your teacher of Graphic Design told you to make a blog of a topic you want what would you choose? That was my problem, having zero ideas because of all my problems going around in my head.   Finally I decided to do this. Maybe you're thinking why am I telling all my problems here but my blog is about this, well.. it's not a blog is more like a diary and everyday I'll be writing my thoughts, the things that happens to me, the decisions I have to make, the wrong decisions I choose and of course... my crazy daily life!
My curriculum vitae

This is me, my CV doesn't show what I've exactly done because there are some invented things... Anyways, my name is Anna Rabassó I'm a journalist student and I would like to be a war photojournalist. My CV graphic is represented like buildings, traffic signals and a road because that's how I see life. Every difficulty is a curve of the road, life consists in building a high skyscraper, you want to be so high but it's a slow thing that starts from down to up. I'm still on the start of the road but I'll be doing my way.

Ready or not here I come.
